Hi, this problem has been happening consistently for about 2 weeks now.
while using any program that requires a steady internet connection (online games, skype, etc...) i get a ping spike every 30 or so seconds without fail. This is the only time that i can actually notice the problem first hand but i can see the bars on my internet connection fluctuation from 5 to 4 constantly while i'm using my computer. I've attempted to trouble shoot my connection but it doesn't detect any problem. I have actually swapped routers in the span of the 2 weeks and i'm having the problem on both.
My PC is the only one in my house that is experiencing this problem and i haven't been able to find any real cause to it.
The network adapter i'm using is a Realtek RTL8188E Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC which i have tried to update the driver to but it says it is up to date and that it is working properly. I also have tried to change the channel of my internet but that hasn't helped either.
My ISP is verizon and my connection type is 802.11n with 6 devices currently connected to my router
