internet connection speed

Hello,

i am not sure this is the right category to post this in but i have a strange problem, i have a 50/50mbit fiber connection cabled from the fiberbox/router thing to my stationary computer but i only have 50/10 according to various speedtests, i had a technician in my home to find the problem but without luck, he tried the connection on his laptop and it showed 50/50, so my question is.. why is my computer not giving me 50/50 and only 50/10? i am totally clueless, i have never ever seen this problem before.

Is the computer connected via Ethernet or wifi?

Where did you go to test the speed?

Ethernet and i usually test via speedtest.net, but i have also tried my ISP's own speedtest
