Internet DC during graphic intense incidents

Lately I have been getting disconnected from the internet while I am either browsing the internet, playing graphic intense games online, or watching a stream such as twitch.tv. Games include things like League of Legends, MMOs, Player Unknown Battlegrounds, etc.

The issue just all of a sudden appeared, as if some sort of update to my computer caused the issue, but I was thinking it may have been a router or modem problem. I've already troubleshot a few times and taken my router out of the equation and direct connected. I am not running on Wifi at all and never have.

I also tested my packet loss and do not drop at all when the issue doesn't occur. It just happens out of the blue, where I will be disconnected and then I will reconnect shortly after, approx. 30-45 seconds. My computer will freeze, my internet will DC and then I'll be back up and running.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Solution
If you are having these issues when connected directly to the modem, the issue is with the modem or ISP connection. You can try another cable also. Make sure the network drivers are updated also.
