Internet doesn't open

When i press on the icon it lights up as if its just about to open but then it just stops loading. In task manager it is shown as working or loading, not sure. I tried different platforms (google chrome, internet explore) still doesn't open. I am connected.

What os, what device? try pinging something. If you can ping, you might have something blocking programs.

Yes other computers get the internet, and my computer has the connection, the program doesn't work - and by the name program i mean the actual internet on my computer, not chrome or ie, also it is shown in the task manager that its loading

Also when i put my computer in safe mode the internet works perfectly

If it works in safe mode but not regular mode it is either a driver problem or a virus problem.

Scan computer with malwarebytes, and download latest lan ethernet driver from OEM's website if OEM computer (HP, Dell, etc), or if custom built then you will have to find your motherboard model number and then google the make and model and driver (so if you had an asus m5a97 re 2.0 you would google "asus m5a97 re 2.0 drivers").
