Turn my new computer set up Windows exc go to go on internet didjt work says a need a driver, Ethernet plugged into computer help

Go into Control Panel>Device Manager>Network Adapters and right click on your adapter, select Properties then the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button and Browse My Computer For Driver Software. Your Windows disc should have drivers on it, or look for other driver discs that came with the computer/motherboard.

It's most likely the Realteck LAN driver that is missing. It should be on the driver disk, that came with the mother board.
