Hey Guys! So heres whats going on;

My Desktop is getting around 2.5 download, on a AMAZING (rare occasion) day I'll get 5 mbps down. However, when I use my laptop, in the EXACT same spot, I get 15 mbps down.

I HAVE:
-Ran many many many virus scans
-Uninstalled programs I don't use/need
-Uninstalled AMD quick stream (saw that was a common problem)
-Installed latest driver for wireless adapter.

I'm honestly lost at this point, I have tried for months to get this working, thought the internet may know.

Thank you all, lets get this fixed!

So I was looking through my device settings, and it seems that my wireless adapter is using the realtek Microsoft driver instead of the one from the manufacturer. Is this a source of a problem?

Can't hurt to try.

You might want to consider something other than WiFI. Powerline adapters, maybe.
