Internet issues on windows xp

My windows xp computer won't open most sights. It says cannot find DNS server or the sight is having problems I'm trying to connect to YouTube some help would be very helpful

What browser do you use. Because youtube may no longer support IE 7 and 8.

You may have to use another browser

Youtube no longer supports IE7/8 and frankly no one should be using that web browser anymore. Download firefox and try again

Try it with other browsers. I suggest firefox.

Likely a software problem, for some reason 15 year old OS and software does not easily support modern websites/software.

Do as Paul suggests and try chrome or firefox browser.
Make sure your system time is accurate as well.
