Hi
I have 5 Pc's at home that are all connected on a home net work'my question is this, Is it possible to play a game like Delta Force, over the Internet, linking all the machines to one broadband connection. How can i get this to work and what do i need? thank you in advance.

Yes this is possible, but you need to set up a proxy or NAT program on the computer that is connected with the internet or buy a router to share the internet connection over your entire network. Then you might need to do some port settings to make it possible for the games to connect to the internet after that you can play a game on every PC over the internet as long as you have enough bandwith.

svol: correct me if I'm wrong plz. I'm not to sure about Delta Force but don't most games that use DirectX have to use the same ports, and if your behind a router the router can only forward to 1 computer behind it at a time. I have tryed to get atleast 1 game I play behind my router to work on 2 PC's at the same time and have never got it to work. I know I can have more then 1 online And gameing but not the same game that uses the same ports.
Just a rookie here tho.

You can have several online in the same game. I hsve done it many times. My son and I play Battlefield 1942 at least 1 to 2 times a week online.

Most peoples problems come from trying to forward ports through more than one device. This is not possible.

I aint signing nothing!!!

You can set a router to forward packets to 0.0.0.0 (in other words itselve) so all PCs can pick their needed data from the router... I do this too at home and I can play 3 games at the same time (I only have 3 PCs that can play games) with friends.

Also if a game uses DirectX it doesn't neceseraly mean they use DirectPlay... they can also use a internet play system of its own.
