I recently moved into a new house, and my internet was working fine for a few weeks but then it suddenly got horribly slow. I sometimes can't even watch Youtube videos on 240p. I'll try playing online games that I used to play before but the ping can be anywhere from 200-2000. I'm always connected to my network but sometimes the internet will just go down completely for a few minutes and then come back for a few seconds before going out again.
We have about 6-8 devices connected in the household (3-4 laptops, 3-4 smartphones) and never had a problem before. We did recently have a DISH satellite mounted onto our roof and the internet started acting up shortly after that. Could the satellite have an effect or is that just coincidence?
Here is my speedtest.net results when im wireless
(for some reason it isnt showing for me so its: Ping- 3ms Download- 15.22Mbps Upload- 14.01Mbps)
Here are my speedtest.net results when im connected directly to the router
(Ping- 3ms Download- 29.02Mbps Upload- 19.01Mbps)
*Note: internet works perfectly when connected directly
