Internet without provider

Would it be possible to use my router as a stand alone internet provider without to connect to an internet provider so to get a better internet connection with depending on providers and thus saving money on monthly fees?

It's completely impossible.

The internet providers own the infrastructure which the line in your house connects to.

U kids are used to free MP3, free contents blah-blah, not with Internet. Can always take your laptop to McDonalds though, just don't do it so often that the manager kicks you out without buying anything!
