Am having issues with my office network whenever the internet goes down the Intranet goes down to ..i need a solution to resolve this issue...that whenever the internet goes down the intranet shouldn't be affected.

Thanks

That is sort of not true because it depends on how everything is routed.

If you have an Intranet, all of the computers on it still need to connect to each other or a focal point such as internet access.

So it would if part of the Intranet became unable to communicate internal to other bridged networks or internet a problem with a access point, or a router in the chain.

You have to attain if it is related to a set of computers on the intranet related to the network IP address and the sub net address given with the gateway/ router.

If the case then it is likely the router is to blame.
Or a conflict is occurring, in its config.
That depends on how the IP`s are dished out, via Dhcp or static setup of each machine over the internal intranet.

All intranet should route, from it`s own router to a main server/ where internet is provided through it and shared resources are available to all parts of the internal intranet for clients. for each part of the Intranet network.

So the link is likely any router or routing to the server. Via a set router for a pool of machines.
The router handles the ip translation to the server, or other parts of the network that contain another router.

So if there is a break then the cause is a particular router. or its config.

If you can confirm it happens on a set number of computers connected to the same intranet pool or set of devices. then the router is the problem.
