invalid format when connected through HDMI wire

hey, I connected my GPU to my TV via HDMI, so later when I was increasing resolution, the display went off saying invalid format, wen I try to open safe mode by pressing f8 in start screen it isn't working. Pls help. My monitor is some cheap local junk.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- First try loading the PC in Low Resolution Mode first, same how you access Safe Mode. While your PC is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it loads in Advanced Boot Options.
- If it will not work, do try running System Restore first. Restore your PC to an earlier date or time before the problem even happened.
- If System Restore will also not work, do try select Last Know Good Configuration.
- Lastly, if all these will not work I would suggest reinstalling Windows 10.
