Investing in the 7850

hi i have an set

Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)



My question is i was thinking of investing in getting the AMD 7850. i wanted to ask yall if i should stick with what have and just overclock cpu and gpu to the best of my ability. Or should i get the 7850 around tax time and just overclock the apu. or should i wait for the 8000 series and get one of those Cards once i do some research on them.

PS. i cant get a new motherboard and i cant get a new cpu/apu. m sticking with the a10.

If you're reffering to motherboard integrated graphics, I'd definitely choose the HD 7850 over it, discrete graphics will always win and it's a very good card. However I am waiting for the HD 8870 to upgrade my HD 6850, so I'd go for the HD 8000 if you have the patience.

yeah im considering waiting for the 8000 series all my game play very well at med setting in 1920. when could i except to see a release date so you know?

max buget is about 487.95

the cosir gs 600 has gone down in price alittle (i spent 87.99)

as well as my xtx 6670 (i spent 89.99)

if you include my case it would be 545.94

no dont need a case, im really just asking everyone there opinion on what i should get for myself via my first post.

but two ppl have said to wait for the 8000 serise.

most ppl have issue with the apu's and putting together with a powerful discrete card. so i was asking the commum what there thought are wand what i should consider.

well the new 8000 series will have more aggressive pricing for similar cards like the 7950 and 7870 equivalents.

so id wait if u want better deals. if u cant wait a 7950 or gtx 670 will do.

also the 7970 stock can rival a 680 and overclocked maul it. so clearly better value imo.

The 8850 is rumoured at $200. If it is, that'll be spectacular from AMD's end. But I highly doubt they'll do that.
