imo The Surface RT was a bad idea from the start, considering how "user friendly" they made Windows 8, making two tablets with different capabilities for their fantasy consumer who apparently needs an even friendlier interface than what has been a staple of PC's for the last 20 years was just plain wrong. Microsoft should have focused on the Surface PRO tablets only which was a unique product that stood apart from the competition and focus on bringing the prices down as much as possible with the aim of replacing the modern laptop.
That simple goal would have put Microsoft back in the spot, lately they haven't a clue what the consumer wants and if they do something good they do it half-assed like the Windows Phone 8. I have a Windows Phone 7 and I love it due to the great optimization but it lacks several important features which weren't addressed in Windows Phone 8 even with a ton of customer feedback on their crappy website. They ignore their users or almost 80% of customer feedback. Steve Ballmer GTFO! Every bad decision reflects on you, you're out of touch, we need someone who is a true enthusiast and knows technology.
