Invisible partition and un editable

I created a 32GB partition for windowsXP and another 8GB partition for FreeDOS however when i booted up windows i couldn't see the FreeDOS partition in My Computer. I started up the CLI diskpart.exe and did list volume and i only got 2 volumes, (Laptop DVD drive and C:\ drive) and no FreeDOS volume. When i did list partition while having selected drive C:\ i got the partition to show up but i cant do assign letter D to give it a drive letter in windows.

Can you show us the contents of sector 0 with a disc editor, eg DMDE?
