I have an iPhone and I am thinking of switching to an Android phone but I don't much about the differences in the UI. I have heard about thinks like launchers, skins, themes, and widgets and don't know anything about that so please help me out.

Launchers replace the home screen of your device if you want a different look or better functionality.

Widgets are just extensions of some programs that's always active on your home screen. For example, you can have a widget that displays all your emails on the home screen so you can read and/or respond to them faster.

Once you get your phone, there are lots of great apps to start with! Here are a few:

360 security
360 launcher
Zedge (get ringtones , live wallpapers(animated wallpapers), and wallpapers

While 360 launcher does have ads first launch, you can remove them in a similar fashion to ios, but instead of clicking an x you drag it to a trash can.

Last thing to know is the app drawer. The 🙂::) icon leads you to this. It's like the ios interface. This is how you add apps to your homescreen and also uninstall apps. In 360 there is something called "single mode" which makes the interface like ios, but locks out a lot of features. If you're confusedconfused with anything, I say your best bet is messing around. Everything is pretty easy to use and easy to find! I also swapped from iPhone to Android, and I'm not going back.

Hope this little guide helps!
