ipad reset error.

I am trying to restore my ipad 2 back to factory settings but i keep getting "error 2003". i will list all of the solutions i have tried.

Restarting my pc.
Restarting itunes.
Changing usb ports.
Restaring my ipad.

non of these fixes have worked and i am still looking. is there a working fix put there?

was something wrong with it before restore? check if 32pin connection is clean on ipad and cable. did you try different cable? what os is iPad runing? and what os version is restore? is it wifi or 3g model? i had familiar problem after replacing digitizer. had to disconnect 3g antennas to finish flashing successfully. one of 3g antennas was not working(damaged during digitizer replacement) and that caused restore to fail...

ipad is running ios 6(it hasnt been updated in ages) the cable is clean. i dont have any other cables, it is also a 3g model and also i am resetting because of a problem with my password.

i found a cable at my neighbours home. that solution seems to be working thanks a lot.
