iPhone 6 VS. iPhone 6 Plus

My contract is ending soon and I am stuck between both of Apple's new flagship devices. I am upgrading from a galaxy siii after 4 long years of using android. I just like the overall design of the iPhone better than most android phones. However, I am undecided between the 6 and the 6 plus. I love the big screen and battery life of the 6 plus, but I also like the compactness of the 6. I have a budget of $300-$400. Any help would be great, especially from those who have one or the other.

I saw that! I would go for the normal 6 also considering the fact that it even is larger still.

That's an upgrade feature , wasn't available in the iphone 5.

The Plus is too danged big .... if you are looking for a phone get the smaller one.

Yah, but wouldn't that only happen by itself if you wear jeans? I only wear semi-baggy shorts with large pockets, so I didn't think it would happen.

Wear a shirt with a pocket, use belt case...... under what other circumstances would one stick a big piece of glass in their pocket and then sit on it .... or bend it in their front pocket.

I would suggest the bigger one, especially because you come from a big phone, and you would probably have some issues getting used to the smaller iphone.

I would suggest the bigger one, especially because you come from a big phone, and you would probably have some issues getting used to the smaller iphone.

Actually, the siii is 4.8 inches. So it is ever so slightly bigger than the 6. However, I love big phones like the g3 and the s5. But I still am very comfortable with the size of the 6.

Well if you buy a $500+ phone and then stick it in your back pocket and sit on it, well, you don't deserve to own nice things, let's leave it at that. :lol:

I own both the S3 and the iPhone 6. The S3's screen is slightly larger, but barely. The 6 Plus is similar in size to the Note 3 if you're into phablets.

Just media BS. There have been 9 reported cases to Apple of a bent phone.

I would go for the iphone 6 as it is a very similar size to the s3 which means you are more used to the size. Plus you are more likely to drop the 6 plus as the bigger size makes it hard to hold.

I don't see any big changes beetwen these two phones. Just the last one with huge screen, design and good battery.
