Hello,Hello, I have a 7.5 , 7.5, 7.9, 7.9 with a 5.9 rating on the primary hard disk. I changed out my out hard drive from 750 gb 5400 rpm to a 2 ter 7200 rpm 64 meg cache and my rate is still 5.9 what else can I do?
All standard HDDs will never be rated higher than 5.9, WEI scales to adjust for the highest level available out there, and SSDs simply destroy HDDs in speed tests which set the high bar for HDDs scores at 5.9.
Why you are so concerned about your WEI score im not sure but the only way to get better than 5.9 on the hard drive score is to make your primary disk a SSD.
The WEI doesn't really give you that much useful information about your system performance. It's not useless but actual performance is dependent upon what your system is doing at any given time. I prefer to base my performance measurements on what is happening while I'm actually playing a game or doing something else.
