So after much debating I am going for an IPS monitor for my build. Which 27" would you recommend Asus, Samsung, and Dell. Looking for 5ms and under and the price will be $330, and under. Thanks for the help!

If you plan on doing any photo/media work go with an IPS other than that the TN will give better response but lack color rendition.

I prefer IPS as I do media with my stuff as well.

ASUS MX279H Silver / Black 27" 5ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor, IPS Panel 250 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers

My gpu is a gtx 780 would it handle 1440p?

What CPU do you have?

i5 4690k

With a 1440p monitor you can run high to boarder ultra 35-50fps give or take 5fps depending on the game. But you should be good...

I run 2 x 27in 1080p and 1 x 27 1440p and I have a EAH6970 2gig

Good hunting...

would you go with a tn panel instead?
