Can anyone recommend a good IPS monitor for gaming? I have chosen IPS over TN as i don't play many competitive games and when I do it's only casually.

I need:
1080p - I can't really go any higher with a GTX 770
24-27 Inch monitor - I sit fairly close to my screen so 27 inch might be slightly too much,
Good picture and colour quality - So i can get my Skyrim+200 mods looking amazing!
Good response time - As long as there are no obvious visual stutters/ghosting

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I forgot to mention, My budget is £200 ($310) (€255) I can stretch to £250 ($390) (€320) if the monitor justifies the price increase.

Overlord Tempest X270OC as the ultimate IPS gaming monitor. Its 450$. :)

I recently recommended the Asus VS239H to a friend of mine. He's satisfied with it, generally.

It also has a very good input lag rating. http://www.displaylag.com/display-database/

EDIT: Well, ASUS VS239H-P seems better for you. At 150$ its much cheaper than the Overlord, its 23" so better for you, its 1080p instead of Overlord which is 1440p.

Overlord is better for the future and builds using GTX 970/980. It also supports overclocking up to 120hz which comes handy in non demanding games.

Get the Asus :D

What about Dell S2415H? Thin bezel (one of thinnest), allowing you to upgrade to 3 monitor setup later. According to this review (https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-s2415h/), only 4,8 ms input lag and should be overal top quality in build, backlight(flicker-free) and color performance.
