I’ve decided to build a PC myself for iRacing since I can’t find one prebuilt that I like... but I’m also new to this and need help. I’m trying to build it somewhat cost effective, but also don’t want to be disappointed with what I have later. I just need some guidance and support on other people’s opinions.

This is what I have so far:
CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 2.8 GHz 6-Core Processer
CPU Cooler: Scythe Big Shuriken 3 70.59 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Intel 660p Series 1.02 T M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB GAMING X Video Card
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart 600 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-Bit
This is the website link to it all: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Please help in anyway you can. Is this good enough for iRacing? Do I need something else? Please help.

First, your link is broken.

I would ask what you are paying for the 8400. Where it was on sale for a nice price around $150, from what I have seen that sold out and the pricing has gone up to a degree that I would consider a 9th gen, perhaps an "F" series since you have a GPU.

Unless you are getting, or shortly looking to get, an unlocked processor, I wouldn't spend on the Z chipset. If you do step up to the 9th gen be sure to check your chipset/board for compat.

So far as I can tell the rest seems solid.
