IRQ question

Now I have used win 9x for some time now but I finally decided to upgrade my computer to windows 2k pro and what i'm finding is that unlike win 9x, win 2k seems to like to put all my pci cards on the same irq. Now I know win 98 wouldn't run if it were configured that way, now what i want to know if that is for 1 ok and 2 is there a way to re-assign resources?

there was a thread titled "irq9" or something like that and many similar ones that will explain fully but here's the short version... some people have problems because of this, some don't. the way to fix the irq problem (if you are having problems) is to get rid of acpi function and set it to normal pc. i'm sure someone else could give a more complete answer but you don't have to worry about it if you aren't having problems
