So i have a gaming laptop thats been overheating (just the cpu but gonna put the paste on the gpu too) and dell is gonna clean the fans and i thought that the fans might not be the only problem (even tho they are so damn dusty i cant see the holes lol), the stock thermal paste might be bad so i found Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut was good and i have never repasted thermal paste in a laptop (and never will because dell will do it) and i wanted to know if 1 g of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is enough for all the stuff in the laptop that should have thermal paste.

Solution
Most will sell it in the little syringe-like tubes/applicators with more than enough compound inside to reapply to 6 laptops and 4 desktops, let alone one laptop... :)

Manufacturers oddly enough do pretty crappy jobs sometime with application of thermal compound... ; my old Toshiba laptop would overheat and power itself off, and, upon complete disassembly and inspection under the sink/heat pipe, there was barely any on the cpu..., certainly it was not even covering the processor die.
