Is 12gb ram supported?

I've got a PC with windows 10 64bit, and with 4gb of ram. Please don't ask why would I like to upgrade it to 12gb, just tell me: will it work? Somewhere I heard some of the systems doesn't support 12gb ram... If it matters something I've got a lenovo z50-75 (https://support.lenovo.com/hu/hu/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-z-series-laptops/lenovo-z50-75/documents/PD100023?tabName=ProductParts)

It should support up to 16GB ram (2x8GB modules), according to the product page you linked. So it should work with 12GB aswell, just make sure you buy a compatible module.
