Is 1T of Hard drive space to much?

I'm going for a Gaming rig and was wondering if 1T of Hard drive space was overkill. It's only 10 dollars more than the 500GB version, so should I just go for it?

No, 1TB of HDD space is not overkill and is worth the extra $10.

You can never have too much drive space. Modern applications and games can consume vast amounts of it so if you have plenty of space to start with it is much less likely you will ever have to worry about migrating everything over to a bigger drive when free space becomes too tight for Windows to function properly.
