Is 4 pin connector enough for i5 8400 (65W TDP) or i should use 8 pin. Problem is psu have only 4 pin. PSU: generic 560W. Currently i have G4400 and works with 4 pin :)

It will work with a 4 pin connector. I’m running an i7 7700 (non k) with a 4 pin power connector, which has roughly the same TDP as an 8400. A 4 pin should be good for any non k processor, which means you could upgrade to an i7 8700 in the future only using a 4 pin EPS. Hope this helps.

It'll work just fine on a 4pin, The 8 pin is only really need if you have a high power draw CPU or if you overclock, that 4 pin can handle up to 144 watts safely, (TDP is for thermal rating and not total power draw).

That CPU will be absolutely fine tho I do recommend that you get a new PSU, something that's a little less generic and something a bit more trustworthy.
