So...I have no desire to spend $1,000 for a 4080 super or even $800 for the 4070 ti super. However, I don't really want to spend $600 on the 4070 Super if it's not going to work for what I need it for. I'd like good performance in 1440p. I would pair it with a CPU that wouldn't bottleneck it. So folks out there that have a 4070 Super...is it a good 1440p card? And I want an Nvidia card...no AMD...not knocking AMD...I just want the feature sets that Nvidia cards have. Thank You.

Anything more than a 2070Super is classifyable as a 1440p card, because in general it'll do @ 60fps at 1440p.

That's in general. There's Always going to be specific games where that doesn't apply, and in general they are user defined, not hardware defined, because it'll be the user that defines 60fps or lower as being unplayable fps for the game, demanding much higher fps for first person shooters etc.

So a 4070Super will do just fine for the vast majority of games @ 1440p, but there will likely be some you think are garbage at your preferred visual settings.
