heloo, a quik question, i just wanted to ask if 4k has better image quality in a sence that a 50 inch 4k tv would look better than a 1080p 22 inch monitor (the 4k tv has less ppi) or iy just adds up more pixels and does not timprove the core image.

sorry if i cant explain myself easily but english is not my main lkanguage
thanks in advance,
Diogo

You wouldn't want to be that close to a TV that large. It would be nearly impossible to see the entire screen at one time unless you are walleyed. Again, you have to have a very powerful GPU setup to game on 4K. So unless you are rocking the latest and greatest graphics cards or a pair of them, don't go with 4K.
If you are gaming, then 4K is a double edged sword. Granted it's "4K", but unless you have a Titan X or SLI 1080's or something outrageous like that, you won't get playable framerates with any sort of decent detail settings.

Also PPI is relative. Meaning that you are likely going to be sitting very close to the 22" monitor, whereas you'll need to be sitting quite a bit further back from the 50" TV to be able to see the whole thing.

ok so this all came to be because i was recomended by a friend toi buy a 4k tv and use it as a monitor since he tells me its the best gameing experience ever so i would be as close as i would be to a regular monitor about 50 to 60 cm.

My usual range is 70-80cm and I run with 27", I guess I could still see 30" but that's about top from that viewing distance. Then from greater distance appropriate to the 50" screen the question is whether your sight is sharp enough to tell 4k from 1080p. Given the extra hardware requirements to sustain 4k with high details I'd skip it for some time yet.

ok guys thank you very mutch for the quik replys i think ill go for 1440p 144hz can you guys just give me some options if possible? i would want to spend about 700 euros tops maybe 800 if it is really worth it.

If you are up for something really hardcore, Eizo FS2735 would be your choice, but keep in mind it's FreeSync device (so not nVidia G-Syncing).
What graphic card do you have?

Edit: sorry, didn't notice you already mentioned GTX 1080...

If you don't have a top of the line graphics card, I would not even think about 4K as of yet. Very little media actually supports it as of this speaking, and graphics cards that utilize that are beyond ridiculously expensive. I guessing the prices for 4K devices will fall with in the next year or two and it will probably be better to Get a graphics card that supports 4K then.
