Question Is 51C too hot for DDR4 RAM under load?

Hey guys,

New here - but I'm turning to the TH community in the hopes that they can help me out. I've been researching online about DIMM temperature for the past couple weeks, but I can't really seem to find any 'solid' answers (perhaps because there isn't a "end all - be all" answer).

I'm running a DDR4 kit of Gskill TridentZ RGB (4 x 8GB). The standard kit provides 3600MHz speeds @ CL17-18-18-38.

However, I just recently OC'd my RAM and tested with Kahru and Memtest with 3733MHz speeds @ CL16-17-17-36 - it appears to be stable and I haven't had any issues with crashes/BSOD. My Row Refresh Cycle time has also been pushed to 385 down from 640 or so.

I'm pushing 1.4v to achieve this, which should be perfectly fine for DDR4 in that range. :/

Since I have four sticks, I'm seeing temperatures as high as 51C on two of the DIMM's that are closest to the CPU. With about 48C on the two DIMM's that are closest to the front of the case. This is after hours of gaming in BFV and other straining titles - notating with HWInfo64.

Is this normal? I'm seeing scattered reports of people saying 65C - 90C is perfectly fine - while seeing other people claim that DDR4 B-Die can throw errors above 50C. Should I be worried about these temps? Am I killing them by having them this high? :/

Any information you have is extremely helpful c:
