Question is 6+2 pin same as 8 pin?

hey there whats up. my gpu needs a 8 pin connector from psu and the psu that im going to buy has 6+2 PCI e pin. is this 6+2 pin same as 8 pin or i need to look for a psu with 8 pin? and 1 more thing the gpu requires 450W the mentioned psu is 530W. is that enough for it?

Yes, that would work....No difference when you use it as an 8-pin connector. Both will do the job easily. Which PSU are you having ? List the Make and model number.

8 pin = 150w TDP.
6 pin = 75w TDP

current psu is 380W with no pin. im planning to buy new one.
so 530W 6+2 bronze is enough for that yeah? here is my current pc
CPU: Core i3 6100
Board: asus h110 plus
GPU: asus gtx 1660ti
3x 120mm fan
1x DVD RW
2HDD 1TB and 500GB

Yes, I have never seen a solid 8pin pcie power connector before. They are all 6+2pins as far as i know.

Make and model of the PSU you are looking to buy?

Is that PSU model made by "Super Flower" ? That's a decent unit though, IMO. Should be enough for your rig.
