is 83-84c under load normal for a 980ti zotac amp edition?

Dear THW community, i was hoping you could help me out with a concern i have with my new build. My 980ti usually hovers around 83-84c under load, is this normal for a 980ti zotac amp edition? the card has 3 fans so i am assuming it should run cooler than the average 980ti, but i seem to be getting the same temperatures. everything else in the computer is running cool.

case fans: 1 rear exhaust, 1 top exhaust, 1 side intake, and 1 front intake. i was just using the rear and front fans at first but decided to buy 2 additional fans, however it did not make a big difference at all. i was told to put the side fan on the bottom but my psu cables would block some of the airflow, would this still be more beneficial even with 20% airflow restriction? or should i try some different configurations in order to optimize the airflow in the case? Note: i do not have room to put an additional front intake fan otherwise i would have done so already.

Here are some of my specs:
Case: corsair 200r
proc: i5 6600k
gfx: zotac 980ti amp edition
4k monitor (Which i suspect may be contributing to the heat)

It may be worth checking a game at 1080p and see what temps you get.

You could try redoing the thermal paste too

Your card is probably not using its boost clock and downclocking if its running hot.

the best solution is to buy a kit like this:

for AIO water cooler, this will keep temps at 50c overclocked.

No, You should rather move your top exhaust fan and put it in the front, as much as i know about the case there are mounting holes for another 120mm fan in the front, Look carefully. Also there is no dust filter for the bottom intake fan so there is no benefit placing a fan there, side intake fan is fine there.
Also, as much as i know the Temps of your GPU should not go anything above 70c even at full load. I recommend you to unplug the card, uninstall all drivers and plug it back, making sure the power connections are plugged correctly. Then reinstall drivers (do not use the ones provided to you with CD) and check the Temps again. If its still giving same tempratures then you should contact Zotac Customer Support. Also if your PSU is bad quality one then it can cause significant problems to your GPU.
