Question Is 850 watt power supply sufficient for an ASUS 4090 TUF Videocard?

Just bought the ASUS 4090 TUF videocard. Based on the research I've done, an 850 watt power supply should be sufficient but I wanted to double check.

I agree with DSzymborski, not all 850W PSUs are created equal.

Having said that, if it's (at least) an 80+Gold-Certified model from a well-known name like EVGA, Corsair, Seasonic, Silverstone, Antec, Be Quiet!, Thermaltake or Cooler Master then you're probably fine.

If it's some cheap off-brand, then I wouldn't recommend trusting it.

I personally wouldn't and didn't go with anything less than 1000W with a 4090 that is paired with any high end CPU.
