[SOLVED] Is 95% of SSD health good ?

Hi ,
I recently checked through crystaldiskinfo and found that my laptop's SSD health is 95%. Is it good or bad ? . I bought this laptop on 12th september 2021. The SSD is a micron 2200 series (MTFDHBA256TCK-1AS1AABHA).

If there are no errors, don't pay attention on "Health" as it's not based on any real thing but program's author's conjunction based on age, number of writes etc. Some other program may show differently.

It's based on SMART values.
Roughly it means 5% of your SSD life has been exhausted.
5% in 8 months - this means with current write workload on your SSD you have a bit more than 12 years of SSD life left.

It can die sooner, of course.

You are good.
The ssd will likely be long obsolete before it loses the ability to update.
Even then, it should retain the ability to be read so you can copy it.

Just as a point of comparison, my 960 EVO shows at 94% health after 5 years /13,400 hours of use, with 42 TB of writes over that time...

However 75TBW is like your car's 36K mile warranty. Nobody expects a car to die at 36001 mile mark.
