Hi,

I have recently installed 16gb(8*2) extra ram in my pc. But it says 95.9 mb is hardware reserved.

Is this normal? How can i fix this? I tried the well known suggestions that i found online. But none of them helped me.

Should I return these rams?

Yes, that is absolutely normal.
The motherboard needs some to do its stuff.

My system currently shows 56.2MB reserved.

Additionally, your screenshot shows 4 slots used, but your text says 16GB x 2.
So...2 slots or 4 slots?

Yes it was 16(2x8) before and I have added extra 2 more. So right now there are 4x8 in total.

But if I remember correctly, there wasn't any reserved space when it was only 16 gb installed. Actually that is why I am confused.

That's called hardware reserved and the motherboard uses it to manage its components and adpater like network and audio componnets and such.

You can not free it as it is 'reserved' and blocked by the system. It's harmelss anyway and is a trivial and not significant amount out of 32GB of RAM.
