Hi guys, I'm looking to build a £500 pc - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

but i'm now having second thoughts, because a ps4 has worse specs, but is apparently optimised for the games, so it beats a £500 pc build. Is this true? I really need to find out - many thanks.

something like this :

would definitely beat a PS4 in terms of performance. You should be able to play all latest games at v.high or ultra settings at 1080p. It only has 1TB storage on a standard HDD. If you want, you can change this to an SSD or make it 2TB as you originally posted.

Solution
Thanks :) i guess bigger games like gta v would be better on ps4 as the pc requirements are very high, but thats a good build i might use it, thanks for the help!

It just about the opposite.....gta V PC requirements are quite low or at least lower than other recent games.

With the above build, you should be able to play gta V on high settings , 1080p at 60fps no problem.
