Question is a 1050 ti dual fan compatible with a HP ELITEDESK G1 800 tower version

hello guys so as the title says i'm willing to buy a hp g1 800 (used) but i don't know if it's compatible in size and in power consumption ? and does it's psu have a 6 pin cable ?

What format did you get? If it is the small form factor (SFF), just forget about the GPU upgrade.
Because 1) like you said the PSU has not enough power for the gtx1050ti. 2) You will need the low profile GPU, the regular size GPU will not fit into the case. 3) If you use win8 or up, when you add the non-OEM gpu, you may have compatibility problem, the info like from the HP support. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653200

no it's the tower version the bigger one
 
OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer". A product designed for sale to an equipment manufactuer. (I got this from online ) Like for HP, they will test them, and make sure the GPUs will work fine with HP PC.

When you buy a GPU from retail stores, like the gtx1050ti, most of them are non-OEM, so you may or may not have the compatibility problem.
