The minimum PSU wattage for the 4090 is 850W (recommended by nVidia).

So a 1050W PSU should be ok.

If budget is not an issue, you probably want a 1200W PSU for a complete peace of mind.

Depends on the other parts as well. Like what cpu, there can be quite a different powerdraw between latest Intel and AMD cpu's.
