Is a 240mm radiator liquid-cooling system enough to handle my setup?

I'll be using a Frostbite H20 Liquid Cooling System (CPU only), the radiator is 240mm. My processor is an Intel i7 4930k, with factory overclocking (Ultimate Overclocking 4.9GHz - 5.2GHz). Motherboard is Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition. Graphics card are 3x GTX 780 Ti EVGA SuperClocked with further factory graphics card overclocking, and power supply is 1300W EVGA Supernova G2. Will this liquid cooling solution be enough?

No way a sinle 240mm is going to cool that cpu and 3 780ti's. I'd say even the cpu and a single gpu is a stretch. A while back I stumbled on a webpage that describes amount of radiator space needed for certain power draw/given. The power draw/given represents the fact that power dissipation is the same as heat dissipation, by using the fact that power presents heat. I cant for the life of me google and find this information. But I will tell you, that my cpu overclocked and a gtx 770 factory overclocked is just below the threshold of my 360mm radiator. Something like your setup, id personally say you'll need at least two 360mm or one 360mm and one 240mm. That's at least, those graphics cards are made to run to thermal limit thanks to new gpu boost two. Those cards on air will run 60-75 degrees, on water a quick search provides 50-55 degrees. Your chips is a great one and im guessing is running at like 220w at full load or more? I'm sure that puts it on par with mine so it will run 65-70 degrees on water which is around where mine does. So your going to have three 55 degree gpus, and a 65 degree cpu in a single loop, with only a single 240mm radiator to disperse heat.

Are you asking if the 240 frostbite h20 is good enough for your chip?
At 5ghz, id say no, you'll have to dial that overclock down

Not really, but I have Corsair Extreme Performance Fans to dissipate some of that heat as well. This will leave about ~100 degrees on the system, is that a really high temperature?

I'd only recommend a 240mm RAD for that overclocked CPU only.

For CPU + multiple GPUs, with these parts, a custom loop with 3x120mm RAD (360mm) of a nice thickness would be better.

Or leave the CPU on the 240 mounted @ top, and put the GPUs on their own loop with a 240-360 mounted @ front.

I'll be running a 4K monitor and that has already eaten up a huge amount of my budget, and to run that 4K, I'd need 3 GTX 780 Tis for playable frame rates. A 360mm liquid cooling system would add another $500 to my budget (yay, the constraints of custom PC liquid cooling).

Yea, Im jealous of your build, Really jealous. I'd swap 780ti's for a titan black or z, but I utilize 2 monitors and only 1 while gaming at 1080p, but I render and work 3d more than gaming.

And a 360mm cooling system, will end up a lot more than $500. trust me, that's what I thought when I bought it. Then had to add another $300 to finish it after realizing I didn't get everything. Plus for you, your cpu block alone is $110, and 3 grpahics cards, at $150 a piece for water block, and $50 for backplate, ouch... Haha.

Im guessing your using blower type cooler on gpu's? since you have 3? What are your temps?

No, it's a custom built gaming desktop, I just checked the pricing and it's $750 for a full-blown Frostbite Liquid Cooling System, that's two radiators, a 360mm radiator and a 240mm radiator which is (overkill? I don't know). And I'd settle for a Titan Z or something less expensive, or even just 2 GTX 780 Tis in SLI, but I'd need that extra 10-25 fps scaling when playing in 4K resolution. Lol, it's actually a way overkill setup for my budget.

And I'd have to sacrifice an SSD for the watercooling system just to meet my budget. 🙁
Edit: Well, I just realized that since I'm gonna be using EVGA's ACX Cooling for the graphics card, I won't need liquid cooling for them and I can save a bit on my budget.

for your cpu? temps depending on your overclock. stock wise you'll be totally fine, once you start overclocking you'll still be fine until your start to increase voltage. Even then, depending on your chip you should be ok for a while, just dont expect 4.7-5ghz unless your going full water and get a golden chip. and i believe the 4930k is like a 5% golden chip rate

Yes you could, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. When your using multiple cards, you really need to make sure theyre all the same, clocked and all. Nividia uses gpu boost 2, which runs the gpu 100% until thermal limit is reached and then it starts to limit itself. So problem watercooling 1 card and not the other, is your watercooling card should never reach thermal limit and so should run 100%, while your air card will reach limit and throttle. So you couild have 100% on card 1 and 80% on card 2. This leaves screen tearing, artifacts, amoungst other types of glitches during gameplay.
