is a 450 watt good enough for a 1060?

I like the air 540. I like cube cases as I have a cooler master HAF XB EVO case also for my other computer but moving the other computer into my downstairs. The other one specs that I have are as followed:
CASE: Cooler Master HAF XB EVO
CPU: Intel Core i5-4590s 3 GHz
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 660 Twin Frozr III
HDD: WD Blue Mainstream 1TB
SSD: Samsung 750 EVO Series 250GB
DVD: ASUS DRW-24B1ST Internal DVDR/RW Burner - OEM
RAM: Kingston Hyper X 2x4 8GB ddr3 ram
PSU: Corsair CX600M

I could spend more on that build for a better higher wattage psu but I don't use sli and I don't overclock my gpu or cpu or even ram.

The CX600M is considerably worse than the CX450M which is much newer and based on different platform. His CX600 is probably still alive due to the fact that that PC doesn't even use 300w.

The CX450M is SUPPOSED to be pretty good. I would not personally use it with a gaming build as expensive as an i5 + 1060, but I don't feel as terrible about it as I would the CX430, CX500, or CX600.

The newer CXM series is better than the old CX series - they've ditched the group-regulated design and are now generating the minor rails. Still not all Japanese capacitors, so it's a budget PSU, but it's much more recommendable than the old line.

I built a lot of computers and the CX450M died more than it should have. The decision to get that one was not mine.

I know spending a little bit more sucks, but the power supply is the place you want to do that.

It's not just outright failures, you can have voltage instability that causes data corruption that builds up over time. Aside from reliability make sure it has an 8-pin connector (6+2) for graphics.

I didn't add up the TOTAL with Windows etc, but it's probably close to $800USD ($1000 or more with monitor, video games etc). That means $10 more is 1% of the build price. The CHEAPEST I'd get would be something like THIS:

Corsair CX450M 450 Watt 80+ Bronze is part of a new custom platform from Corsair , DC-DC coverters were added for reliability and stability , and come with a 5 year warranty , they are good power supplies. They are the silver and black models , 450 , 550 , 650.

Can't be true because the CX450M is new to the market ^

Pcpartpicker sucks. It's pricing is way of. A cx550m is 59.99+free shipping or if you got prime which includes free 2 day shipping. The seagate is 64.99. However I do like that it is fully modular but if a 550m will do then I might as well get it right?
