My PSU is Antec bp450s, and I want to get the asus radeon rog strix rx 570 4GB.
Will it work properly?
No OC, my CPU is i5 7400.

The Antec BP450S can run the 570 , it has the power and the PCIE connection to run it. Quality isn't the greatest.
You can run the 570.

Mine won't?
This is a multi rail low tier psu. It is an old platform with multiple 12v rails. I'm not saying here that this brand is bad but this unit probably isn't the best one. If my understandings are correct than it can't deliver more than 396w on the 12v rails. You might be fine but I would ask how long have you been using it. Also if money is not an issue I would upgrade to a decent 500 or 550w unit. Or if you really don't want to spend that much but you do want to get a new unit, I would look into a 450w corsair like the cx450 (not the vs one), or the antec vp450p is also decent or the evga 500bq. All these are reliable safe units. And keeping this old antec probably isn't a really futuristic idea.

Been using my PSU for about 18 months now.
I do need to stick to a budget... I have about 200$ spend and I just want a new GPU.
Removing the PSU would be problematic for me.
Maybe I should just get a GTX 1650 or something?

Thanks I read it.
What consequences could happen if I take the risk and plug an RX 570 though?
Will it be harmful?
Probably nothing at first, but if something happens and the psu doesn't have ovp (over voltage protection) than, it can just blast, and it might take your parts with it. For how much are you planning to get that rx 570. I would get a 1060 3gb from a trusted seller on ebay, and get a decent psu. But that is just my opinion.

Generally, we WOULDN'T recommend it. That's the problem.

What is your goal? Are you looking for a better GPU for gaming? It seems you're willing to get a lesser GPU in order to keep the existing PSU, which makes me wonder what your goal is for getting a GPU.
My current GPU is GTX 1050 2GB which I got for free with my build.
It's a trash GPU, I want something that'll run popular titles in a decent quality on about 50+ fps.
The RX 570 seemed like the man for the job.
