Question Is a 500W PSU enough?

It's not a well known brand and I'm not at home so I can't tell you the brand. I have a 1000W Platinum PSU from Corsair tho that I could use, I know it's overkill but is it bad that it has that much voltage?

Your better off using the 1000w Cosair. Won't hurt , your computer only draws the power it needs.

Like Dark Lord of Tech said, the 1000w Corsair power supply is your best bet. 80+ platinum and a trusted brand is a lot better than a sketchy power supply. no matter you power supply wattage, your PSU only supplies what your PC needs... so again, use your Corsair power supply, as it will work better and has the least chance to pop.
