I was wondering if it is a good combination to use a Amd A8-7670k with a Msi Geforce Gtx 1050ti 4gt OC 4GB or i need a better CPU? (Playing Battlefield 1)

Thx. Hope it will be better than now. Im using a Gtx750ti lul

The 1050ti is the max that your cpu can really handle (even at that it will bottleneck some).
Anything better of a GPU will really not gain you any additional performance because your CPU will hold it back.

The A8 is just a weak CPU and frankly so is its entire platform. Just upgrading yoru CPU alone wotn do much because the BEST they make for your platform the 880k is still weaker then a 2 generation old i3.

Ideally you should shot for an i5 but if you need a budget build then a pentium g4560 + b250 motherboard + 8gb of ddr4 memory (need this for new motherbaord) runs about $190 and will be a step up today, and give you an actual upgrade patch for future.

Oh, we assumed you were running the APU integrated graphics.

The 1050 will provide an increase over the 750, but its a toss up if the difference is worth the cost of the upgrade.

I would rather suggest you put the money into a better platform first

I have 8Gb of ddr4 (i think) and a A68HM-E33 V2 motherboard. Its just the Gpu that i want to upgrade. Thx for helping ;)

No you have DDR3 memory, as that is what FM2 platform uses.

If you dont want to upgrade that is your decision.
Your cpu and your platform is a huge performance road block and even going from the 750 to the 1050 is likley not going to be the change you were hoping for, ESPECIALLY in cpu intensive games like BF1.

If i turn everything on low, i still get 100% usage in task manager. Maybe its not my cpu's fault

Its 100% all the time despite the settings. I will launch Rainbow Six Siege and see if it has 100% too. If not, Dice needs to fix the problem with high usage.

I know, but im not such a pro with that. Better ill just sell this pc. With that money i get a pc with Much better CPU and more ram and will buy the graphic card separately. It will be cheaper and i think that better.

the 1050ti will be good enough to run battlefield 1, although all CPUs in the A series and quite a few of the fx series will not be able to play battlefield 1 online without dropping into mid 20's in fps. I have an A10 7850k overclocked and that is my results. If you are playing offline there is a chance you will see over 30 fps fine, just remember online is very CPU intensive and even the processors on the minimum requirements struggle with that game, I do believe all A series procesors are below minimum. I reccommend waiting some time for the Ryzen 5 cpus and saving up for them and do a cpu, motherboard and ram upgrade. I know that isnt practical in terms of cost when you already have a working system but thats how it is with battlefield 1. You should be fine with a lot of other games though, just dont expect great results in brand new releases (Excluding most rts games and some racing games due to their low requirements) with a cpu such as yours.

Will a i5 6600 be a good option?

I have the exact same CPU and GPU myself(And mobo wow). If you have AMD Overdrive on you will see as mine does, the CPU WILL be under full usage under the entire game session. I'm probably going to convert a Intel i5 chip, as you should too. And you must really upgrade to 16gb of RAM, I found that to be super helpful as it nearly doubled FPS.

Feel free to ask more.
