Hi,
I am running a amd a8 7650k processor with my gigabyte f2a88xm-hd3. I was wondering if I could put a fx8350 in. I heard that my current processor is a apu and I'm not sure of the fx8350
Thanks

No. Your CPU and motherboard are FM2+ socket, FX series are AM3+. Not even remotely compatible despite both being AMD. If you want to use an FX chip you will need a 970 or 990fx series chipset motherboard that supports AM3+ processors.

This is about the best CPU upgrade you can do using your current motherboard, but you'll only want to do that if you already have a discreet graphics card because this won't have integrated graphics like your current APU does.

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($73.88 @ OutletPC)
Total: $73.88
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
