Is a GPU compatible

Lets say i have a sapphire rx580 8gb.
Are gpu's only compatable with intel or amd or does the gpu not even care? Will this card work with my ryzen 5 1500x

My mobo is a msi 350 mate

The GPU doesn't care if you have an AMD or Intel. It works on both platforms.

The only thing is to look if the motherboard has a PCIe port and your power supply does have the additional PCIe power plugs you need for the RX580. Depending on which 580 model you have, you will need
1x8pin
or
1x8pin + 1x6pin power plug
