I have an old PC with a mid tower and 750 watt PSU.

I have 2 sticks of this kind of ram.

This is my motherboard.

This is my CPU.

How much bottleneck would I get if I put a gtx 1660 into this setup? Would the 1660 even fit into a mid tower? Also, do I need some expensive fans and heat sink or will a 30 dollar heat sink and 5 dollar fans suffice?

Any help is appreciated, thank you very much.

The gtx 1660 will work just fine on your motherboard, and assuming the PSU isn't complete crap, it's more than enough.

The RAM is a little slow, plus your CPU is quad channel (which needs 4 sticks to use), so you're not getting the best out of it.

Which heat sink are you referring to? Assuming you mean the CPU, it's quite power hungry so you don't want to go too cheap. You need a cooler that's rated for 150w minimum, a bit higher wouldn't hurt. As for case fans, a good built has a few fans to get a nice airflow through the case.

you should be fine with the 1660, they make pretty small ones, but you should probably measure to make sure it will fit.

Regarding a heatsink you probably want to spend abit on it, its a pretty hot CPU. As for case fans somewhat cheap ones won't be the end of the world, but honestly spending a little more on them is probably worth it simply for noise levels.
