So I currently have the MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine) that came with my pre built computer. Recently the sound card stopped working, and instead of just getting a new one of those, I am wondering whether I should just upgrade the whole motherboard or not. I am not super great with computer hardware so sorry for the stupid questions.
I am looking at buying a new motherboard during these upcoming sales, and do not know what defines a "good" motherboard. Any suggestions would be very helpful and even whether or not it would be worth all of the trouble to upgrade.
