This information seems to be glazed over in most articles because they're so excited about Type-C, but the first motherboards to market will be using Type-A connectors. I need to buy a lot of USB 3.0 cables soon and I want to know if they will be outdated by Type-A 3.1 cables. Please include sources if you can

Update 1: Thanks for your help guys. Even wikipedia doesn't really mention type-a cable info for usb 3.1. I'm going to download both specs from usb.org and see if there is an easy comparison. Will post results here.
