I'm about to build a pc, and just want to know if all I need to install windows with an .iso file is for it to be on a USB.
Can I boot any USB flash drive in the BIOS?
you cannot just drag and drop a winsows ISO file on a usb drive and expect it top work. if you are looking to install windows 10 download the media craetion tool, if it is windows 7 download the windows cd/DVD tool and use those to create a bootable windows inall

Where did you obtain this ISO file from? Did it not come with a DVD or USB when you purchased it?
