As stated even @ 5.05Ghz I'm only paying ~$.07 cents per KWH so I'm paying $7.20 more per year than an Intel build that would have cost me over $100 more when I built my system. So it would take 13.89 years for the power usage to make up for the difference in cost.

I don't know where you guys are getting 120FPS 😛 I'm getting in the 50s in The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. All at 1440p with all image settings maxed though.

I was actually referring to 1080p 60Hz monitors (which are the most common monitors) as compared to 1080p 120Hz monitors.

I've had my motherboard since the Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 first released for an upgrade on my Phenom II 965BE system. For the length of time I've had it and the fact that it has had 3 different processors run on it at some point makes it a great value. I'm also not on water cooling, I'm on air cooling, which is cheaper. I have never had a CPU die and have overclocked every CPU I've ever had, the only time I stop using them is when they have run their course and its time to upgrade to a more powerful CPU. And again since when is a 1080P 60Hz monitor "cr@p"? Troll much lately?

All my pc's idle. It's nice for my 3770k to hit 4.9GHz flat out (highest I've bothered pushing it so far) but I'm just as, if not more so, happy sitting at a more relaxed 4.6GHz with Intel speed step engaged. So 1.6GHz when I'm asleep, 4.6GHz when it's awake

My 3570k is only at 4.0ghz, but if I am not gaming, it is folding.
